In the Tower and Clusters each family has a private apartment-style
suite, which holds three to eight people. The suites have two,
three or four bedrooms; a large living room; bathroom;
internet access and a small refrigerator. Our suites offer views
of the mountains or courtyard, but not of the ocean or lagoon. Every suite receives
daily housekeeping service. The dining commons is adjacent,
as is a heated pool. The entire area is beautifully landscaped,
with paths for biking, running or walking along the beach.

The
Family Vacation Center’s accommodations are located on the
UCSB Campus. The facilities that we have traditionally used
are the seven-story San Rafael Tower and three-story
San Rafael Clusters. All of San Rafael has been renovated to
reflect the newest requirements for earthquake safety and has also
been beautifully landscaped. San Rafael
Tower has
an elevator.
The Summer Inn, located on UCSB's campus is perfect for visiting friends and family of Vacation Center guests and for families who wish to extend their vacation in Santa Barbara. Start or end your vacation at UCSB at the Summer Inn! Alumni and friends of UCSB looking to reconnect with campus are also welcome. Visitors using the Summer Inn pay only for accommodations. Meals or FVC activities are not included in their nightly rate, however meal tickets for the Carrillo Dining Commons as well as tickets to the Recreation Center (RecCen) can be purchased and guests have free access to the pool.
