1. All cancellations of confirmed
reservations must be made in writing. Mail to: Family Vacation Center, UCSB Alumni Association,

2. Cancellations received
before January 15, 2011 are charged a $50 cancellation fee per suite. Cancellations received between January 16, 2011 and 30 days before the start of your vacation are charged a $100 cancellation fee.
3. Cancellations within 30 days of vacation will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee if the week is fully booked. If the week is not fully booked there will be a $100 cancellation fee.
4. Canceling one individual from your party will result in a full refund for that individual, up until the start of your vacation, unless as a result you do not meet the minimum number for your suite, at which point the $450 surcharge will be assessed. If you cancel an individual after the start of your vacation, a 50% refund for that individual will be issued.
5. There will be no penalty for changing the week of your vacation. Changes, however, can only be made if the week you'd like still has availability.
If you book prior to January 15, 2011 a deposit of 10% is due at the time of reservation. As of January 15, 2011 50% of the total reservation is due and final payment is due April 1, 2011. Any vacations not paid in full by April 1, 2011 forfeit their reservation and all monies paid.
Wait List
If we are unable to book you initially, you will receive telephone or email
notification that you have been placed on a waiting list. These
lists are used extensively through the spring and summer. Our office
will contact you by phone as soon as a space becomes available.
You will not be charged if we cannot accommodate you. There is no charge for canceling from the wait list.
