The UC Santa Barbara Family Vacation Center has been entertaining families for 40 plus years. Located on the campus of the University of California Santa Barbara, the Family Vacation Center provides a relaxing and rewarding experience for the entire family. We accommodate guests of all ages and interests, and offer activities for everyone from infants to great-grandparents. We also have special facilities for groups and family reunions.

Perfect for families with children, our center features infant care and programs for kids of all ages, including teens. UCSB student counselors keep kids entertained in a fun and safe environment for the entire day or any part of it—the choice is yours. Organized games and sport activities cater to kids by age group, so they can make friends fast and get the most out of their vacation. Parents get precious time to enjoy themselves. Adults take part in tennis, golf, horseback riding, reading, exercising, relaxing by the pool, dancing, wine tasting, sunset sailing, and more. And, of course, we do all the cooking and cleaning.

The Family Vacation Center was started in 1969. Since then, we’ve been host to more than 60,000 vacationers. Our guests enjoy the many included activities as well as the exquisite surroundings of Santa Barbara, the nearby wine country, beautiful golf courses, and five-star restaurants.
